Balamb garden disappeared, stuck on centra continent

Anyone else lose the garden? I went to get tonberry as soon as i could fly the garden, left the ruins and the garden is gone. I've walked around the whole island and cant find it anywhere. i got a chocobo from the forest there and it was invisible on the world map for some reason so im assuming the garden is just invisible too. Any way to fix this?

I dunno how to fix this, but there should be a way to find the Garden if you forgot where it is. Just open the fullscreen map and look for the blinking red dot that represents the Garden. Then walk towards it and when you're next to it, try to board it like normal. In fact, if it's still there, you might just run into it as if it's an invisible barrier.

It was weird. No red dot, no garden anywhere on the island. Ended up getting a save from gamefaqs and using hyne to get it close to my save

I seem to remember losing ragnarok on the original but it just ended up somewhere else on the continent. Anyway it's not a big issue with all the save games you can switch in. Games still definitely worth playing

You're the 2nd person i've seen post this man. I've played FF8 probably...15 times, done the same thing almost every time haha, went straight for tonberry king / odin, and this has nevvvver happened, this must be a new bug related directly to the "remastered" version. I know it's a buzz kill man, but you might have to grab a save file from online to get past this.

Yeah, no biggie. Ill probably play through again but ill progress the story one more scene before heading for tonberry this time haha
