I've never played a Final Fantasy re-release with these cheats before, so it'll be interesting to see. I'll probably just use the 3x speed boost for some parts. Maybe random encounters off if I'm feeling annoyed. I mean, I don't see why anyone would want to unlock all items and get max everything... But some people are just in it for the story.
The enhancements are there because, guess what? These games are kinda old, and they've aged a bit. No one can deny that. There's some parts people would rather be easier. I'll once again say it, I've never used these cheats before, so I don't know how intrusive they'd be to gameplay. But to my understanding, it's non-intrusive.
(Now that I think about I have played FF9, on the Switch. I think I used the 3x speed boost to skip the battle opening sequences. I wouldn't even consider 3x speed cheating unless you're using it to gloss over a ton of grinding)
Game age doesn't matter. That's the point of a remaster, to make an old game more aesthetically appealing with newer technology. Cheats are not enhancements lol. Cheats are cheats. If you're going to defend cheating, at least just say some people want to cheat without hunting down a cheat program. Or that maybe people that have already played the game, want to screw around with cheating. But don't make excuses fam.
Btw, it doesn't affect you either, just like this thread. So why'd you feel the need to twist my intentions?
Oh right, because you wanted something to troll about. Or you also like to cheat and would rather take jabs at me than discuss the topic. :p
@Birck - While you're encouraged, it's completely optional in multiple ways. First, you can beat the game without min-maxing your junctions. Second, you can get magic through item/card refining and can even give yourself a massive early game advantage through this method and not bother with magic drawing for the rest of the game.
I don't see in Store description how this remastered version is different from the base game which is already on Steam for ages except for cheat list. Which makes it useless.
True. In the top right it does mention graphical enhancements, and the screenshot does appear to show changed player models. I'm hoping it includes other stuff too though, like the PS1 music track and GUI.
Just level Diablos ability and you don't need it
It's a singleplayer game so why do you even care ?
"INB4: "Don't use them if you don't like them." Yeah just don't.
