[FIXED] Error when launching - System.InvalidOperationExceptions

On System.Linq.Enumerable.Last[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source)
On FF8_Launcher.FF8ConfigFile.WriteDefaultFile(string path)
On FF8_Launcher.FF8ConfigFile.Read(String path)
On FF8_Launcher.FF8Launcher..ctor()
On FF8_Launcher.Program.Main()

If anybody has experienced this particular issue and gets it to work, please share the solution.

SOLUTION!!!:

PC:
You have to disable your non-dedicated video adapter. From the device manager, you right click the adapter and then disable it (in my case it was the Intel HD Graphics 630).

Notebook:
For those of you who use a Laptop with an integrated card and a dedicated nvidia card should enable the "high performance nvidia graphics card" for the ff8 executable.

Beware that the procedure above enables the option globally; if you want to be specific, it is the same procedure but in the tab "program settings" where you should add the game's exec file.

Looks like a write error for some kind of config file. Try running as admin to bypass permissions issues. Then fix your permissions later.

Updating video drivers to the last ones... nVidia 436.15

It didn't work for me. I updated to 436.15 and I still get the same error.

Guys just change permission from windows.worked for me.Windows 10 when the block pop ups click it and change it to allow

I don't get a pop up. I also tried running steam as well as the game with admin rights and I get the same result.

Already updated my drivers and nothing changed
tried to run as adm, nothing...

Let's see if we can find a pattern.
My setup:

Windows 10 x64
Geforce GTX 1080 (latest drivers)
I have the original FFVIII installed.
I have installed the remastered edition on the F: drive.
The OS language is latin american spanish.

With the 436.15 nVidia video drivers the game starts.
With the previous video drivers the game did not start.
With the administrator permissions and the previous video drivers the game did not start.

I think this must be a specific problem SE must fix with a patch.

Tried running as an administrator
Game is installed on my second ssd.

Still not running

Runs on my gaming laptop. with a GTX 970 integrated GPU. Game Installed on 2nd high capacity HDD. Only [other] difference i can imagine is that on the Desktop PC i have steam installed on a SSD separate from the OS.

EDIT: Also saw that the on the laptop the game ran a first time setup before attempting to launch. That didn't happen on the PC.
