It is very sad to see people throwing money to SE for this "remaster" when modders have done a better job this years upgrading the game.

Reading comments like "SE employers don't work for free" is even more sad. So a modder, who spend his/her free time upgrading a game for you, doesn't deserve your money? Sigh.

I am very grateful for those modders who spend their FREE TIME to enhance/fix/upgrade your favourite game.

This game is not remaster everything same with at 1999 first release. they just only polishing characters faces and squall is likely ff15 character

I'd much prefer modded "original" version with superior backgrounds over lazy remaster. But perhaps eventually the remaster gets same mods as previous Steam release.

Its already at Version 7.01 (After all this new AI Tech is quite new)

You can not mod from old FF8 Steam to FF8 Remaster. Needs new coding for remaster. You cannot copy and paste from old to new.

I don't like the Moguri for ff9. The well chosen screenshots looks quite good but most of the background in actual game doesn't look too good.

However I love FF7 remako. It's a very good mod.

The backgrounds look amazing and I wish this remastered had upgraded backgrounds but If you watch the gameplay videos of that mod there is alot of stuttering in the gameplay.

Well my point stands, for the time being the quality you shown on the first post cannot be achieved this is why it is misleading.

They are achieved and exist lol, what doesn't exist is 1 click Mod that install them all
Reason is each image take a long time to process so this thing takes time and again as i said this thing is "NEW" by the end of the year expect full mods to be out easily

TBH, I did not even realize people modded old games, much less on how to do it. Very bad with technology, so usually just buy, download and play. (already spent the money on this, but was mainly because I cannot get the version i bought to even open anymore, did SE or steam close out the non remastered one making it unplayable or is it a issue on my end? )
