Music changed?
Last night, I was playing this and had no issues. Turned the game off, and went to bed. I just started the game up, and the music is jacked up! Sounds like a midi version! I've restarted my computer, restarted the game multiple times, and the music isn't reverting back! This has me extremely upset! Anyone else having this issue?

Many seem to have this issue.

I had the same problem, it only got back to normal when I left the area to another with different music

Damn. I'm doing the SeeD exam right now, so it'll be a few minutes before I can get to an area with different music. Hopefully it'll correct itself after that because I can't tolerate this midi crap!

It's honestly weird that they'd even have the MIDI files still in the game. I didn't see an option to switch to MIDI, so why are they there?

Right?! I know the original Steam release has the MIDI files, so why were they seemingly included in THIS version? I had to download a file to replace the MIDI files in the original Steam release, just so that I could play the game lol.

because this "remaster" is built over the top of the old steam version that had the midi music...

I get that the new music is better, but I personally don't mind midi music. It just reminds of me of when I was younger and playing games like this lol.

Well yeah, but they didn't have to keep the old files in. I bet they don't even have the old character models in there, or the unfiltered backgrounds, so why keep the MIDI files?

I think they have some old character models - Headmaster Cid was pixellated to hell after his little speech...

The pixelated Cid isn't a model. That's a 2D sprite which is part of the background. There's a bunch of them in the game and it's part of the backgrounds looking terrible in general.

Are they still going to fix it?
