What are the Win Conditions for this game?
I finally managed to get to day 63 with all characters alive, but right when I click to proceed to the event "a time to refocus" or something like that, the game fades to black and says "The Uprising has Fallen" and boots me to the main screen and deletes my save.

Is this a bug? I really put a lot of effort into making sure lil' Franek made it out alive.

At least one district has to survive to the day 63. If you saw stories about the characters then you beat it.

Had read several interesting threads about the game's "win/survive" conditions. This one explains it a bit:

Can you win?

Of course I can';t even find objectives on my first mission. So, pending following advice about supply drops, I hope to find out how the game ends on my own too. :)

I was holding on to Srodmiece for a few missions because taht was the only district I had left, and pumping up morale by excursions

You also need to watch the Uprising's momentum--if this drops to zero prior to Day 63, then you lose. Momentum will drop daily, but certain events (and your choices in it) can cause it to drop faster. If I recall correctly, loss of districts also accelerates the daily drop in momentum as well.

There are no win conditions. You lose. Every. Time.

Yeah, in hindsight I think I lost because of lost momentum right on that 63rd day.

Started another playthrough and finally managed to get through the end, but BOY was it BRUTAL. I lost up to 4 characters alone on this new playthrough. Accepting losses like that and continuing was quite a lesson and an experience for me. End credits did not help too much either.

I need to take a break and just take a few thousand deep breaths

Hey Macdallan. Not really. You can actually win as a player. It's only you can't win the Rising. One of the first things established when we set out to make the game was: there would be no winning the Rising in WARSAW. Historically that's not what happened and we felt it would warp the concept of actually setting the game during that heroic spurt. But the fact you can't win Rising doesn't mean there's no victory for the player in WARSAW. That victory is achieved by making sure your people survive the Rising. Thus the history remains intact and the player has a goal worth fighting for. And as a bonus we negate the risk of players coming out of the game with the knowledge that eventually Warsaw was liberated on the 97 day with the right combination of Jadwiga's healing, Henryk's extra activation, Marian's careful application of flames and Anna's one-shot kills all the while abusing the pushed away lonely enemy to accommodate for the serial heals.
