Reincarnated in the lowest sphere

So there is a room with statues whre one of those has a pair of eyes. after solving the mystery youre teletransported to a room with a minigame where you have to shoot some fleshm hive thingys with cannons. after beating the minigame youre teletransported to a room with one of the ? stars that said "you need to be reincarnated to access the lowest sphere". after i beat the game i try to go to that room again but the portal was destroyed.
Anyone was able access that room after beating the game? was there aother path there?

sorry man it has been sometime so i dont remeber it well,
lets see, there was one statue that was different from others right? i stand beside that one (not in front of it but beside it on the right i think.) then i waited for a bit then i did something (is there some kind of charge attack or some other action you can do in this game?) and it was that maybe you just have to wait.
