Widescreen will make it into the EA eventually. You buying the game helps us get closer to that and fix a lot of other issues present, that's the pont of Early Access.
We do understand your frustration and decisions that follow though, but we'll make it all better!
The UI is also very hard to read, if it could be remade it would be great.
And of course 1920*1080 16:9 is something that everybody will probably ask for.
Who is currently responsible for re-coding or programming adjustments on your team? and has there been much difficulty in going over/understanding the old code?
Nowaday, all the new videos game support both 16:9 and 21:9. These type of video games will look very nice on a 21:9 in my opinion.
1st priority: better graphic and support 16:9 and 21:9
then I'm looking forward for new contents and more modes.
I almost cried when I see the news about this game, so much memories! I have faith in this game and i will be supporting it. I'll be buying this game now
Thank you for bringing this game back !
When the game supports 16:9 widescreen is when I'll be repurchasing it.
Now in 1080p and other 16:9 add later.
To dev : 1440p and higher is coming to ?
They provided options to get the game going in high resolution already. + Widescreen. I mostly played the game in 1024*768 so 1920*1080 is a blessing.
"I can't play the game on my 4k screen", FFS, we are talking about a 20+ years old game, it's already a miracle some cool devs decided to spend time on the game. They are fixing the multiplayer already, which is not easy since even at the time the code for that was quite shady.
Don't make them stop developing the game! They are doing a really AWESOME job and already provided a way to play HD and widescreen + fixing the multiplayer so we can enjoy it on Steam. Sync errors are deeply embedded in the game's orginal code since I had to deal with those 20 years ago.
You are waiting for more and more and more when you already have a gem in front of you. Many devs are quitting developing because of such unattainable demands made by people like you guys. I'm pissed, you just can't be happy with what you got, can't you? It's not like the game was running poorly or had major bugs. Come at me.
They already did? Still using this on my original (GoG) version for Widescreen and 1080p:

Why is there no note/hint about this? It's basiclly a selling point since we already can mod/patch the original to high resolution and correct 16:9 aspect.
1920x1080 (a.k.a. FullHD) is in fact the only widescreen resolution present in the game at the moment. but it's been there for a while, along with camera and fov adjustments.
Modding/patching/hacking the game is pretty different from providing official support, getting the resolutions in with the game accepting them and behaving correctly is a task much more complex than people give it credit for. :)
We're looking into having the game support more resolutions of course as has been stated since the beginning of our project.
Hope that helps!
