what is the point of junglers?
the team is busy killing other players and minions on the lanes and the junglers kill monsters on the jungle.
i understand about killing dragons gold miners and crackens but how is killing the other neutral minions beneficial for their teams?

also can someone please give me a few tips for playing glaive.
i am having trouble playing as him.i am not sure if he is underpowered or i am just playing him the wrong way.the tips the game gives me are not good enough.

New to the game but:
in general in mobas the point of junglers is to give help by ganking and pressuring anywhere on the map as well as giving more exp to the player who's in the top side (since he's alone he doesn't share lane's exp with anyone)

^ Exactly, I couldn't have said it better myself.

Also, as the jungler roams the jungle for it's mobs he typically collects rewards like buffs they drop. The jungler should also try to steal the other teams jungle mobs to prevent their Jungler from leveling up properly making him less powerful for the opposing team thus saving your team mates from effective ganks, and if you steal the buffs by doing so, then their jungler will be even less effective while you become better equipped to overpower them by widening the gap in player levels.

Hope this helps and addresses your concerns.

In 5v5, I've found that killing minions bring little plus xp? So when you are solo-laning, you have a chance to gather more xp then dual-lane. You also get obviously more money, cause you don't share last-hits.

Jungleres tend to level up little bit faster + they control your side of the jungle. If noone does that, you would be easily ganked from behind.

-----------------------
1st issue: Selfish Jungler
Selfish Jungler is any player who things he is better then the rest of the team. Such guy usually never helps, cause he is sure that by leveling and gathering money in a jungle he will get so beaf, that at the end part of the match, he will kill everyone. This is a huge issue in low-mid tier of the game, because by doing so, his team is easily pushed to hug the towers, they get less money, cause Tower is lasthitting the minions and they get less xp, cause they need to go to base more often. Such jungler is usually best of the losing match by making his entire team starving. NEVER BE A SELFISH JUNGLER. Always watch the minimap and help your team unless you are really behind with your xp.

This is superannoying, when you have 2 junglers in 5v5 match who do this.

2nd issue: Endgame Farming
Some people consider themselves junglers till the end of the game. Forgetting about the game goals. When opposing team moves all their forces to lanes, jungler should stop jungling. Especially annoying is when you get attacked and need immediate help and you see jungler trying to finish Goldoak for 220 gold, standing right next to you.

Glaive: I am not playing Glaive almost at all, but he is very strong champion. You can watch some videos, but here is where he excels:

• He is tanky
• He has huge inicial burst damage
• He has CC (Crowd Control) ability
- He is slow

Glaive is especially good when he has healing behind himself, so stay close to Grace, Adagio or Lyra - unfortunatelly in teamfights he doesn't tend to get that many heals, cause squishes usually need it more.

Strategy:
Glaive's strongest feature is that he can CC the enemies. He can jump in the middle of their pack, pick 1 of them and throw it in the middle of your team-mates. This helps so much in doing perfect micro. When done properly, you can instantly make enemies -1. He can also AoE the enemies when they attack him, causing damage while he recieves it when he tries to run away from the enemy pack.

Definitely watch some videos, cause it's hard to give you particular playstyle - especially when I don't play glaive. As far as I know you can play him as a tank same as damage.

You play a character like Reim, hit level 2 off jungle mobs inside 2 minutes, rush top or bottom lane for first blood with boots and hard CC like Reim's B. Not only do you get extra XP as a team by having an extra solo laner, you also get jungle buffs, and easy ganks/sight advantage with a jungler compared to without.

Also junglers usually build tankier and have more tankiness in their kit in VG, which in the late game will give more time for your ADC to do his job in team fights, since you can soak more damage that might otherwise be directed at him.

tl;dr of everything,
1. Gank/pressure enemy laners and win space/CS for your own laners
2. Steal jungle from enemy to starve gold from them
3. Play a supportive/tanky frontline role, some are innately tanky, while others can build items like pulsewave, fountain and crucible for team support

A jungler has one main objective. Control the jungle.
Secondary objectives,

Infiltrate the other jungle.
GANK your teams lane when appropriate.
Don't feed

Don't feed i say again.

DONT FEED

What most people don't get is, that 1 laner vs 2 laner gets a XP bonus to the 2 players... So u don't want to have a duo lane vs 1 player for too long... That's why a jungler also exists. He gets his xp from the jungle mobs

Not necessrily true in Vainglory. This works in DOTA because XPs are devided on a lane. In Vainglory the one who kills minion gets 85 the other one 75% in case of 2 on lane. If minion dies by minions, players get 0 xp. Only last hits count. This means 2 players easily deny and punish ANY last hits which only 1 opponent would try to place.
The only good reasons for this strategy (talking 5v5):
- The 2 of them will fall behind compared to the rest of your team, not to you, so if you play supporting Champion like me, you can sacrifice yourself for a greater good.
- Reasonable only on off lanes, so you pull the opponents from their center of interest. They will have it harder to gank and they will be effectively able to gank only middle.

In 3v3 this is very situational and far harder to explain what is the good thing to do. You can have Koshka and Krull bullying your jungle, you can be the bully, you can have two strong iniciator laners vs Vox... It really depends a lot on many circumstances.
