Collecting information regarding the Black Screen and Loading Screen issues

Hello everyone!

I'm exploring a theory I have regarding the black screen and getting stuck in the loading screen issues.

If you are experiencing either or both of these issues, please post here with the following information (PLEASE INCLUDE ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW, EVEN IF YOU DON'T THINK IT IS RELEVANT):

• Are you experiencing the Black Screen issue or are you experiencing the Stuck on Loading Screen issue? Please specify which issue you are having.
  
• What type of hard drive do you have? (SSD or HDD)
  
• What kind of GPU do you have?
  
• How much RAM do you have?

Hi! I experienced both having black screen and it also get's stuck on loading screen, I have:
SSD
Intel i3-4005U
NVIDIA GeForce 820M
and 6GB of RAM

pentium G620, HDD,8G RAM, I do not have an Onboard video card.

I've been dealing with both issues, assuming:

• Black Screen issue happens when the game is tabbed out of, and then returned to, resulting in an empty screen
  
• Stuck on Loading Screen happens after the match has been found and heroes have been selected, and the game crashes after a bit, which I'm assuming is a result of the game successfully loading in, but then encountering an issue with the ingame assets, or something similar. I'm no game dev though, so I could 100% be wrong.

Here's my specs:

• 4096MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 380 Series (Gigabyte)
  
• HDD
  
• 16 GB RAM

EDIT: I decided to try and get into a game again, but without ever alt-tabbing from the game (I noticed it was mentioned a few times in this thread), and I successfully played multiple matches. Looks to me like the issue has something to do with how the game is handled when it isn't the main focus of the system (or something similar, I'm not quite sure how to put it.) Hopefully this helps! :) <3

So, with some investigation and some digging, it looks like one of the causes of getting stuck on the loading screen is running the game off of a HDD. Thing is, you're not actually "stuck" you're just taking forever to load. I know we're working on possible fixes but the best workaround at the moment while we work to resolve that issue is to run the game off of a SSD.

As for the black screen on launch? We're still trying to figure out how that happens. It's another one of those bugs that we can't reproduce internally but the information you all are providing is extremely helpful. Thanks again!

Nope happens me and game is on ssd

- loading screen holds on for around 1 min after game started (first round only)
- m2.SDD for Windows and RAID5 with 3 HDDs for gamedata
- GTX1060 6GB
- 16GB

Process explorer shows many connections that open and close in a short time, like game searching for the gameserver. Maybe this help, too.

Basically, your work around is - "buy a SSD and replace your HDD"? Meanwhile, people with SSDs are reporting the same issue. This post upset me a bit more than it should have.

To people looking for another work around, Some users have suggested playing a couple bot games first. You don't have to finish them apparently. Just let the match to load in, play some minutes and surrender (5v5 vs bots).
Your PVP games will apparently load faster after this.

Black Screen Problem :
-Windows 7 Ultimate
-HDD
-Intel HD Graphics 3000
-8GB RAM

P.S.
There was someone who posted a "Fix" on youtube, I took a risk since I tried the manual fixes suggested in this forum for hours, and all of them failed. Anyway, apparently said "Fix" was a dll file made using Mesa3D to force OpenGL rendering upon the application. It certainly made the screen appear, but the rendering was so slow that I cant even go past the loading screen(before match). Cant even play with Bots, best it can do is to allow me take the daily free chest in the game market...
So, for now I decided to give up playing this game on my laptop and just hopefully wait you guys to come up with official fix.
