I have a permanent Witch's Curse and it makes me want to quit.
I am in Sunken Lands so somewhere in Krell's Landing or Veilwood I picked up this curse bc I didn't want to send the girl (Wolf Mother) back to the witches bc she said they abused them. Now I've noticed that this +10% chance of suffering kills on my units is permanent. I thought it was temporary or that rescuing the girl (Wolf Mother) would lead to it's removal.

I'm even angrier bc I had already rerolled to restart the campaign mid way since I had messed up several choices regarding Ulnar and decided to run w/the Ranger Falirson build. So kicking and adding all new units isn't feasible, not even counting the resource cost, bc they'd all start off at level 1.

What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ show. How did the devs think this was a good idea to put in role play dialogue saying the witches were mistreating the girl forcing her to do things and then penalize the player for not bringing her back to the witches?

Return a girl to abuse or suffer a permanent debuff. WTF kind of decision is that?

...So, you want to quit for a 10% chance of suffering kills on a unit ?

Ok.

To be honest, I would be tempted too, since a +10% increase is a substantial increase on the base chance of suffering kills. At the very least, I would want to reload an earlier save (or if Iron Maiden, copy over an earlier save backup).

To some extent, I find that Invasion has a lot more of these events compared to other campaigns. And I think it was feedback like this that scaled back the event-based punishment in other campaigns.

I went back 2 3/4 maps. I couldn't deal w/suffering the extra 10% kills. I'm angry about the effect in general though.

Who puts in a permanent debuff on all of your units while making the player believe the witches were abusing a girl making her do horrific things. And put in no way to remove it except bringing the girl back to the witches?

So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid man.

sounds dumb as hell. It's like a bug. Goofy design decision in a game like this. Sometimes I think those boys at Slitherine have a screw lose. They make a good game sometimes, and sometimes they get carried away with a simple game trying to SQUEEZE more depth into it and end up sabotaging it. Another thing is it will never change or get 'fixed' because the goofy developer thinks it's an awesome idea.
