What exactly does Frenzy do though? I am clueless.
So you attack one enemy and get +10% dmg for two turns, then the enemy attacks you and you get another +10% and so on. Enemy dies and you can't get to attack another in two turns - all the gained frenzy bonuses vanish and you must start anew.
That's also why that oak before clansmeet that gives frenzy with no rng is kind of a big deal. It's basically a free Loric's axe that uses no artifact slot.
A last tackled the game some year ago or so, so I may be mistaken about retaliation and I really am not sure if it works on ranged unit since I never tried it myself, keep that in mind. But it's still amazing on a unit that can take a beating and deliver it back the next turn.
Cleavers has innate frenzy ability, by the way.
Thanks; and yes, I gave the main character Frenzy at the Blood Oak! ;)
I love plopping warcamp just underneath him, giving him an artifact with fortify, getting frenzy from either axe or that tree and just watch him be an impenetrable rock that everybody stupidly bash themselves with.
Ah, that's another idea. The main character can create an actual fort! I use it as a recruiting station, but I never thought of using it as an actual fortification! ;)
