Take three times or four times as long if u need to make it but make them bigger and increase the level cap to level 20 preferably level 30 if it is 100 missions and or allow you to keep leveling your units and heroes but with minor improvements after level 20 or 30 and higher level units and skill trees.
I can't imagine playing on a higher difficulty without taking the Crab branch ASAP...
So probably dollar per scenerio, it would be better to make at least a 50 campaign size but 100 would be ideal and just set a price point to $50-$70 dollars. How hard can it be to write 50-100 maps with some story? To me a bigger size campaign equals more money since these campaigns really do not have much replay value to them making it have a larger campaign would help with the replay value problem.
I will not buy smaller campaigns myself. In my opinion the Developers should aim to over deliver and it is ok to ask for more money if your going to over deliver but in terms of value give more content then asking for more dollars. If you want more dollars just add more scenerios to play in a campaign and that will solve the money issue instead of making a bunch of small little campaigns that can be done in 2-4 days.
Maybe they will consider my input. In my opinion it is a win win for the players who want more content and the developers who want more money so it seems like the logical path to take. Then you would need to improve the level caps and add higher level units and path trees etc.
Fantasy General 2 deserves a good quality touch. So only time will tell to see what they plan to do next.
