Anyway to respec Heroes?

Hi.

Anyway to refund hero skill points? Didn't realise heroes cap at 10. Don't mind if its a cheat if that's the only way.

I don't know about cheats, but the game itself does not have a respec, I am afraid.

Oh well. Any chance of a respec potion as rare loot in a future patch ? :)

you can enable the console in game, and use that to add/remove the skills you want for your hero under the "promotions" tab.

add this:
<debug menu="true" />

as the last line before </config> in config.xml (it's located in your main install directory).

then hit \ in game to open the console menu.

try not to go overboard :)

Ichthyic, I would like to try this also, but have been unable to locate where it should be added. Could you give me step by step directions. ( I am not a computer person}

Open Steam.
Open your Library.
Right Click Fantasy General II
Click Properties
Click the "Local Files' Tab
Click the "Browse Local Files" button.

This will open an Explorer window in the games install directory. Rightclick config.xml, choose "open with", and then choose a text editor (like notepad).
