Torn Letter item?

I looted an item named Torn Letter from raiding a settlement in the battle which is the alternative to "The Gap" and wonder if anyone has seen this? It is from a woman who claims to have stolen "Corm's Armor" and carried it north from the castle as far as she could go.

Does anyone know if it is just flavor text or if you can find that armor? Just in case I equipped the Torn Letter and walked north from the castle on that map up to the edge of the map but didn't see anything new or different. Seems like it must be for *something* since it's sitting in my inventory and otherwise would just be clogging up the screen?

By the way I found the Torn Letter on Malric's Vale. I assume you guys all found it on different maps? Which likely means it's not for the map you find it on.

random give me only 3 item

1) Massage in the bottle- Spirit Mask (20% Magic Damage Reduction)
2) Torn Letter - Corm Armour
3) Letter ( Medred)- unit Medreds knives (trackers recon infantry)

message in a bottle - tiny 3-pixel island 2cm to the right of mission token There and Back Again. its the smaillest island of the 4 drawn there. there is also a dragon drawn there.

reward - Charging Boots. wearer can charge into ANY terrain. meh.

Does a message pop up when the cursor is in the right place, or do you have to just click around like a madmen?

Text is fairly straightforward (torn letter) there doesn't look to be much of an area to scour for it :/

Thanks guys I would never have thought to use the world map, I was hunting around the maps I found the clues on.

Maybe....maybe not when you have already 3 siege troll units ;-)

I had 4 siege trolls units and got the tartarus catapult, I don't think it's related. But the rewards seem a bit random, I got a purple helmet (-100% killed) for the message in a bottle.

Also, I got one of the letter items in the last battle, meaning I couldn't even use it...

Ok, from the message in the bottle i got an item that improves magic damage by 50% ! That´s fine. Croms Armor found too but the treasure map........where can that be ???

....ok got it ;-) 500 Gold indeed !
