Why can't I buy this?

On 28 Jun 2021 I purchased part 1 on steam to try it out with the expectation that I could buy parts 2+3 if i enjoyed the game.
I completed the game a week later, and have now found that all 3 parts have been removed from the steam store by the publisher.
This is very annoying.
