Free Game Mode End?

For the "Free Game" mode, does the game end in December of 1592? Does the game end if you meet/fail all 3 "Objective of the Game" requirements?

I guess what I'm asking is if you can play indefinitely, or if there is a time limit.

I don't recall what happens but in the game setup on free play you can disable the tasks entirely. i think you can play forever in that setup. With tasks, from trying to remember (its been a while) ... I think you win or lose when the last task date passes or if you beat the goals.

I appreciate the comment. I didn't disable the tasks so I hope you're wrong about that. =) LOL. Anyone else know definitively one way or another?

You can still play the game after you complete all objectives.

So does the year go to 2000 then? or just simply end/stop at a specific date in this indefinitely?
