Custom icon for exe
Hi, I am pretty new to this application, but I have looked around and can't find much information on replacing the default AGK exe icon with a custom one for your application.

I have found a couple of mentions of changing the icon programmatically for windows in this article from 2017 https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/220611

or by using a 3rd party app like Resource Hacker within this answer https://steamcommunity.com/app/325180/discussions/0/610573009243169490/?l=dutch

I just wanted to know if this feature has been integrated since 2017, or whether it still has to be done in one of the two ways above? I can't seem to find anything in the FAQs or the app and have looked around to see if this has been answered since, but can't find anything.

Thanks

Because the way AGK works, you still have to use something like the resource hacker in order to change the icon, as this is baked into the .exe for the product.

AGK does not compile a native .exe for your project instead when it compiles a project all it does is copy over the player.exe found in the root install of AGK, to your project folder, rename it and then thats it.. your bytecode file does the rest.

Ok, I will try and use resource hacker to sort it out.

Thanks for your response
