I did all the acts, but cannot remember what exactly act 3 is.
Its where vlad invades the human empire and needs to take out 4 keeps. One has archers, one has calvary, one has Templars, and one you pretty much take out instantly in the beginning of the mission.
I'm trying to but like I said I simply can't keep up with the sheer number of armies that are coming my way. Like I just killed 2 in the last hour and there's already ANOTHER COMING towards me. Its ridiculous.
Both, you need to take the keeps and defend them. You start with Vlad's army and negative income. Once you take rhe keep in the beginning you gain another lord, but hes so bad. -3 army slots for units. I've restarted 5 times today alone I cant make any headway and im very close to just saying ♥♥♥♥ it and uninstalling the game.
"Don’t auto-resolve battles, reload when you lose units. You want to have two acolytes for healing and lots of ranged units. Use map clutter and edges to box yourself in. 3 Werewolves are the ideal tanks, but 3 Dracul Halfbloods will have to to till you get them. Make sure the Halfbloods strike killing blows to trigger their Blood Drinker skill. Use only Vlad to slowly spread your control, and replace his units with better until you win every fight without losses. I remember it took rather long till I was able to afford a second army, but you can use the second Lord without an army to buy library cards and feed on villages."
So this is quite typical - win every fight without losses and eventually you'll be able to do more.
There are alo't of posts about act 3, Its an awkward one to say the least.
If your losing then Ya as the comment above pointed out, Your Losing unit's in fights, Which you can't let happen. It's easy enough to do, Your lord is Nigh unkillabble, Get most of the agro on him then follow up with your unit's. Ofcouse Use choke point's to your advantage etc*
So long as you dont let unit's die, Winning is a forgone conclusion.
It just takes FOREVER, As you Simply slowly gain ground Via Bloodline upgrades and nipping Territory's .
Always Grab what ever land you can In your down time, focusing on one direction at a time. This havely slows the enemy army's down as they will reclaim every piece of land on there way to your main keep, Giving you more then enough time to take the other enemy keeps and get back to intercept.
One last thing as far as the Blood economy goes, Allways consume Population, you should have your smaller army dedicated to this. First thing you should upgrade is your ability to feed via the blood line tree. This gives you the Blood when you need it, and later becomes OP when you get the 100% extra blood Trait.
Also try to get the consume card and the extra ap cards when ever you can.
Managed to beat it, took me 50+ turns but once I captured a 2nd keep I pretty much steamrolled the mission with werewolves and vlad. Ended up being able to auto every fight with no loses. But my god was it a chore. Doubt ill replay the dracul campaign anytime soon. Nosefernus seems like its gonna be very fun though. Just trying to beat the last dracul mission now.
It wasn't even hard, just confusing and long.
Way to many battles.
But most battles are won with Vlad alone.
He's very strong. Just let him run in first, and let him aggro the enemeys.
Block paths with ur other (tanky) units and let your range units shoot the enemy (mages prefered, they deal good amount of dmg).
Use the feeding Cards at the end of a week / month / what ever that ♥♥♥♥ is every 4 turns.
That way you don't lose the blood income from those towns.
After the starting stuff (beat that one lord and so on) I just went down after a few turns.
I had 4 Units with me until I've beaten the horse Lord.
After that I recruited some mages and some dracul lvl 3 Units and went upwards on the right.
I was able to auto resolve all auto resolveble fights without any losses and jeah, at this point it was just annoying.
Don't summon a second lord. You won't need it. The enemys tock everything of me while I was taking stuff on the right so ... jeah. Who cares, since you won't lose any units after you got your lvl 3 stack.
Is the 4 chapter as annoying as this one?
If yes, I won't bother with that.
I'm going to cheat engine it to see if it's worth bothering with the rest of the game.
