start a sandbox game and give each of them a try.
Only thing that is locked still, is the whole Moroia campaign.
The rest is already accessible in the beta since the latest update.
-cheers
The Nosfernus clan is an army mixed of undead and vampire beast units. The undeads are weak but quite cheap to buy. The vampire beast have high meele damage but not good armor. You use undead units to hold the line while flanking the enemy with your vampire beast units. Nosfernus lords can summon undead and casting magic damage to their enemies. Unlike the Dracal clan the Nosfernus lords are not as good in meele so prefer to flank or cast magic behind a nice wall of undead. Their units don't cost upkeep since most of them are undead. However they don't get a good economy so they need to eat the villagers. However they can upgrade the villagers to get more population growth so they can eat them again next year.
Third clan, I have no idea yet as I haven't tried them in the sandbox mode yet. I think they are meant to be magic focus theme.
Forth unplayable faction is the Human Empire, who have committed an unforgivable crime....they refuse to know their place as the vampire's food and slaves! Therefore they launch crusades to overthrow the vampire clans. They have normal humans units. Most of their units are weaker then vampire units. However they have powerful teir 3 units like knights, crossbowmen (they both hurt) and the one unit I really despise, the templars. Templars have high armor, magic resistant, good meele thanks to their fiery swords and can cast heal on their allies. They are champions of humanity. I hate those guys it takes me ages to kill them and I once lost one of my lords to them, thinking they were just average humans, he can take them, I was wrong. They chopped him into little pieces and held off for my army for several turns. Templars, crossbowmen and knights are the the most powerful human units you will face. Their lords have different classes that use different abilities and have special abilities that only humans can use.
Those are the different factions. Hope this helps
