How THICC are the dino's health pools?

Does it take 2 to 3 magazines to take down enemies? Am I going to be shooting at a T-Rex for 2 to 3 minutes with a .50 cal equivalent weapon to kill it?

I'm asking cause bullet spongy enemies really ruin the pace and fun of a game. This game looks neat, but if I need the ammunition capacity of 3 to 4 guns to take down a boss, I'm gonna pass.

T.rex have between 9000 and 9500 hp with AR you need to call for ammunition if you are alone.
Raptors can be killed by a single bullet if hit in weak spot but can take 5 shoot of upgrade AR before to go down.Styracosaurus and Ankylosaurus can be killed really easily if you shoot on weak spot. But can nullifie damage on armored spot if you dont use peforing bullet same for the rex head.

This is in fonction what you use,some weapon deal massive damage like Gatling,sniper rifle or shootgun.

if you check the upgrades for different weapons, you can see that there are modifiers for getting through or busting dino shielding. it's a challenging game for soloers when just starting out. use the melee! those burrowing ones don't outright attack nearly as much. melee them and shoot them on the ground when their armor is vulnerable. use explosives! jurgen basically has infinate grenades. or use mine seeding, anything that explodes. upgrade your weapons for exploding shots. works great on the big guys too. some guns will deal critical damage on consecutive hits, like the AR. get this modifier. level up for access to more weapons.
