Global Achievements

Bugged Achievment?
I saw, that 0% of players did the Achievment "A New Pet". I was wondering how that could be possible, as I expected it to have happened at least on accident. So I tried getting it on purpose and I managed to extract with a Raptor in the Ship, but I didnt get the Achievment.
Now, I have a few theories about this:
1: It was a mutated Raptor and therefore didn't count.
2: I misunterstood the Achievment and you have to do something else to get it.
3: The Achievment is bugged
Has anyone else had experience with this Achievment?

It is one of the 3 achievements that still don't work. There was some issues with quite a few achievements at launch, most have been fixed now. Devs are aware and will be looking into fixing it after the holidays.

This achievement is being investigated and is planned to be fixed in a future game update.

I was able to get them all a few months ago. Not sure if any are bugged or not at the moment though, but I haven't seen any recent complaints.

The one I talked about in the original post has been fixed, don't know about the rest.
