And no, it makes just as little sense. Muscle man wouldn't be able to do jack with that gun without also having an exosuit.
With selectable outfits and emotes that put you in third-person.
I don't care what type of characters are added; this is just a weird disagreement against customization.
It gets kind of annoying seeing the same insignificant topic that has been answered time and time again get brought back to the front page every other week. Out of the list of issues this game currently has, "I want to play as a different gender >:c" is the least important of them all.
I respect your frustrations, I do; and I agree to the notion this game certainly has a priority list of issues that need to be addressed. Cosmetics being the least of it's major concerns.
It's also important to note if the same topic keeps being brought up, to the front page, time and time again. It's clearly of interest to some people. Types of characters to the potential future of characters archetype is Feedback. Relevent and integral to the games success? Goodness, no, not at all; but Feedback is Feedback. Note the interest. Then let people argue about how canonically it doesn't make sense in a game about blowing up radioactive raptors to have x/y/z in it.
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a bi-pedal sentient platypus, specializing in duel wielding flaming nunchaku, that also moonlights as a line-cook in the last surviving Space Waffle House.
But I digress.
Don't disrespect Space Waffle House. You'd learn a plethora of important life skills working there: personal responsibility, time management, respect of the chain of command, the perfect ratio of flour to baking powder mixture, and the ancient, esoteric, art of flambé-bâton de spinny.
How in the heck can you not feel like you kick butt playing as Rosy? She's awesome.
Personally I'm tired of the stereotypical "muscle bound male hero" in games. I'd be happy if they added everything but that. I know a lot of players might want that but maybe they should consider how amazing characters like Rosy are, suit up and get out there with her and kick some dino tail. Seriously, she's fantastic.
Space Waffle House is the ONLY waffle house worth visiting. I'll take a double stack of extra crunchy half-wheat supersize pancakes with Space Syrup (tm) every time.
That's a pretty lame cherry then, it's not just seeing her but hearing her voice, talking about her team/gun as if they're her babies, what the actual fu*k?! I wanna tear sh*t up fighting dinos! Playing as a mama type woman really kills the badass-ery for me.
But hey, if you want your character to sound like a mama then pick her in your loudout, you do you girl.
It's all good though as they've added in the Kiwi Jack! Makes way more sense playing with this big Islander dude!
Hi team! Thank you so much for adding in Jack! He feels way more badass!
