For those of you who fly fish in the world world, you know that the way you have to cast and play the fly in this sim is not correct. Do you know why they designed it this way?

They've never fly fished, did poor research, or maybe it is easier to move that way in VR from testing (or lack-of)?

is it bad in realistic mode?ive not tried the fly fishing style yet from what ive played in realistic mode on normal fishing the realistic part doesnt show the float camera so icant say if it makes casting realistic too.

Yes it's bad in realistic mode. This is not how fly fishing works.

The fly Fishing ia hard to master, and there is this anoying bug where the lines keep breaking even witha small fish, i use a 35 lb line and it keeps breaking every time ... i can only put out some chub ???

The developers are just not skilled enough to design fly fishing to be realistic. There is a sim called Fly Fishing Simulator HD that replicates fly fishing quite well so I know this can be done. http://www.flyfishingsimulator.com/

There is actually a fly fishing mod that appears to make it more like fly fishing: https://www.nexusmods.com/ultimatefishingsimulator/mods/1?tab=description

I haven't tried it yet, but will once I make enough cash to upgrade to the wonderful world of fly fishing! Based on the screenshots, it looks more like actual fly fishing, pulling and releasing the line rather than reeling. Dunno if it accounts for the issue GrayFox was running into.
