Prying open doors

I've seen video's where you can pry open doors, but I can't seem to get the option to pry them open. I've got the crowbar purchased and in hand but I can't seem to find the route to the pry option. I've been able to pry open cases I've found, but so far I've had to uninstall every door I've come across in order to gain access. What am I missing?

Finally got the option, looks like only non-damaged doors can be pried open?

Is this "non damaged" as in 100% fixed up, or "non damaged" as in regular doors that are capable of being opened if they have power and you know the pin?

I haven't gotten far enough along in the game for power/pin discoveries, it's just been un-powered doors that don't have a "repair door" option when entering a new salvage ship.

Yeah i haven't been able to pry any doors on derelicts. No options come up, and i do have the right tools. Do you think its a bug?
