Cause its a great idea. And you *will* at some point lose track of time and strand your ass in space with a dead battery. Which, honestly, is an easy fix but its time consuming. Because you can catch a shuttle ride somewhere, either take or buy a battery there, and plug it in wherever to charge it before dragging it back home.... Or, just flip a switch and make a note not to be that kind of stupid again ;)
Note: None of this matters once you go big time and install a reactor. But at least this way you don't need to charge straight at that goal if you don't want :D
... Or just steal one from the flotilla from one of the (many) easy to hide in areas where nobody can see you that also have batteries.
Hoping Flotilla and other stations get kiosk services (at a markup as needed to reflect their economy) down the road.
Hoping to dedicate to time to turn a lot of them into better articles, even if stubs once I've explored more of the current content. :)
