0.14 Restore Times
So I get the motivation for the new, increased restore times. The only problem is, as of right now, it's impossible to effectively restore anything that's been hit with long restore times like floors, walls or airlocks. The super time jump doesn't seem to work for this. I jump forward and my character doesn't seem to do his maintenance routine (Set to Autotask, put restore on high prio or even with explicit repair tasks given). It says that x amount of modules were restored for x amount of damage but even when he's in the middle of a task during the jump, the restore bar doesn't advance.
It would be super cool if we could Time jump those long ship flipping tasks with food, time management and general welfare as a concern but also, the usual issues seem to crop up. While I was time jumping, the station got overcrowded, dead NPCs started appearing and every so often my ship would randomly get knocked around by something (NPCs docking? How can that even happen?)

Just to check, Restoring times have been increased, but Repair times are the same (repairing from damaged, compared to restoring an item to 100%)

As the SuperFF screen mentions, PDA orders are paused, so no repairing happens. But restoring does occur. I'm not sure exactly how it's applied right now though tbh.
Yeah NPCs hit me docked at KLEG all the time, always have.

You're right, I'm talking about restoring. The game still calls the action repair though ("repair (x6.0)") even if it's not damaged.

But yeah, restoring doesn't seem to happen, PDF or not.

One last thought was that maybe my PC is restoring just random parts somewhere on the ship and I'm not seeing it. Though the expected behavior would be that whatever task he's currently on gets time-jumped first before doing some random different ♥♥♥♥

Restore is a seperate action, you just need to scroll the actions list; "Repair" will (as I understand it), restore the component to "Operational Status" where Restore will cause it to "Repair" further from that condition. Also Repair Requires Resources, while restore does not.

I think you're right on this, or at least it's something like that. I know it ignores actual tasks so I wouldn't be surprised if it allocated differently. On my four day trip to Venus the state of my ship noticeably improved!
