Issue with hauling
I set my character to auto task and have him hauling some stuff. He will just pick something up and drop it immediately and move on to the next haul. nothing is being stored in my ship. Is there a fix to this?

Took me a while to figure this out and sometimes I'd bump into this issue.

1) Press N and set your zones,
2) Make sure you have a zone that has ALL as the type of stuff to haul (because I believe there are some objects that just don't have a specific zone type).
3) Make sure you actually toggle the HAUL check box for that zone.
4) Make sure there are no locked doors or anything else blocking the characters from hauling to that zone, they will NOT unlock the doors or find a way to pathfind to it.
5) It helps to set a zone so that it extends outside your ship and just into space. If you have a secondary airlock that lets the character go outside the ship, they will just start stacking overflow outside the ship but next to/inside the zone.
5) Remember that anytime this dropping happens it's usually because their pathfinding is blocked or the zone is not set or possibly that it's full.

Hopefully I got everything listed

I appreciate your response. So, initially, I thought maybe the obstruction in front of a door was the issue. I, then had the idea to redo my zone so it wasn't partially in my 3x3 airlock area. once i excluded that airlock area, all was well.

I will keep your tips for the futute as well. I'm still learning how to navigate through the bugs. The game is so good that I dont even mind the bugs. lol

Thanks again.
