Do items on OKLG eventually despawn?

Is it possible to safely use the locked storage areas for storing my own stuff? Or do items on OKLG evetually despawn or get taken by NPCs?

i don't think anything ever despawns. I once built an altar there, destroyed it and left the bits of chunky blood there, and it's been days.

Still wouldn't risk storing your items there though.. who knows when a patch reworks/wipes OKLG and you lose your stuff...

I haven't seen anything despawn. I've installed battery chargers to the station. Installed one of those powered beds. Placed storage crates. Heck, I've even installed exercise equipment (don't do this, the npcs will use it and you never get a turn).

Items in crates does respawn time from time, so if you put something in - it will be lost.
But things on a floor are safe.

I actually installed some training equipment outside of my personal quarters because I didn't have enough room. The npcs actually used the training equipment I installed! I guess with time they could get fit and strong that way and thus become potentially nice recruits.
