How do I sleep?
I am late in my first shift... after a busy day salvaging, my character doesn't seem very tired, but I want him to sleep! I put the roster to sleep, instruct him to sleep... and he pops right back out of bed! Any advice to avoid this in future?

Is your character wearing a helmet? They won't sleep while wearing one. I think this is a fail-safe measure to make sure NPCs don't accidentally suffocate in their sleep because their suit ran out of battery/ran out of O2/their CO2 filter ran out. Currently my insomniac character can essentially sleep whenever they want assuming they don't have their helmet on.

If not the helmet, then set the roaster back to working schedule then order the character to sleep. Rosters other than work might put the character into auto-task mode and sometimes they do strange things.

Actually for sleeping it needs be in sleep schedule, otherwise the character will only 'nap', which regenerates barely any of the sleep bar.
