i used the room nearby where you find the knife and welder as a workshop to repair stuff/store parts i couldn´t sell without any problems for two ingame weeks

ohhhhhhh it happens, I had a hauling zone in the long corridor next to the crowbar. started seeing random npc's just dragging my gear around the station

Only re-spawn ships (in debug mode) can wipe out everything on the floor, things in containers might be safe but not 100% sure.

Never seen this before. Though you can lock the corridor doors.

You can leave items on a floor, but you should not use containers. Their content get refreshed time from time. So you will lose what you put in it.
