[SPOILERS] Question about 'quest' rewards...meat.

OK kids, spoilers below for sure!



I ran the mean missions in a desperate attempt to remove that blight from my world ASAP!
I was 'rewarded' with a "Meat Planter". I can stare at it and get the same buff from looking at flower planters. It does have the tag "Is Meat" but that doesnt seem to matter.

Am I missing something here? I cant seem to harvest it for meat (making it a useful things) or do anything else with it.EDIT: It just spit out a piece of MEAT on the floor next to it...but, as it is post-resolution of the meat story, it seems useless.

My Second Question:
What are the other rewards and what do they do.

It's been kept pretty close yeah. I believe there are two other rewards, one is a sword/scepter which is a powerful melee weapon, I'm not sure what the other is but I think you get it by communicating with the meat rather than chopping it up.

I am not the type to savescum(even in glitchy betas), so my last save was from WAAAAY before I even started even the idea of clearing the quest to get rid of the blight...kinda wishing I scummed it now (it was tedious AF) haha!

My "reward" was from talking with it as well...I didn't really care enough to pay close attention, but I think I went about as benevolent a route as I could make out because I didn't want to make an annoying enemy or delve deeper into content I don't care about.

Maybe I'll just install it in the derelict station, that I haven't been to in so many character saves that I forgot it existed until just now! Oh God, I can't think of the name of it! Oh that will drive me mad until I get to my computer again! Yeah they are getting a meat planter.

Yeah, I got the scepter...I sort of went the malevolent route. :)

It's a good weapon but nothing truly kills meat beyond lasers and even that takes the wind out of you fast. I don't know if you can benefit from the meat after you finish the plot but eating the meat has some interesting benefits...

I can not interact with the meat outside of picking it up and moving it around. The meat planer would be cool if the meat it created could be consumed. Infinite food for maybe one person. Would at least stretch the rations out a bit longer for long travel.
