Where do you get backpack?

I could not buy any in the supplies kiosk or other kiosks. Also the big red toolbox is nowhere to be found. Any ideas?

You can try again when the Supplies Kiosk inventory refreshes (red time in the top of the buy/sell screen).

Otherwise you'll need to find them on derelicts.

Dual-wielding those red toolboxes makes salvaging and repair a lot faster. So good. You either get them at the supply kiosk near the OKLG dock, or you find them on ships. I think they're kind of uncommon, and I probably bought 2 before I found 1 in the wild.

You'll find backpacks every few ships, in various states of repair. Better than that is the work dolly you can put in the same slot. 4x4 IIRC, and you can put a backpack on it (or 4 backpacks if you feel like it) and stuff things into the backpacks. And I think you can put red toolboxes in the backpacks. Inventoryception!

You can find better gear in derelicts. Early on, I suggest sticking to exploring wrecks and looking through their containers. That way you will save lots of money, not to mention making some by selling valuable stuff you do not need.
