Selling uninstalled ship parts
Just making sure I'm not missing something obvious. When salvaging derelicts I'll uninstall stuff like air pumps and nav consoles and sensors and thrusters, drag them into my ship, drop them on the floor.
Then when I get back to the station, I have to drag them one by one to the kiosk to sell? If I want to sell to the black market person I have to drag them over? When I just walk up to the kiosk I can't see a toggle for ship inventory, which would be super helpful for selling stuff en masse.

Also is it worth repairing this stuff before selling?

Hit the N button when on your ship and create a zone. You can select everything in this zone in the trade window now if you check the trade checkbox.

You can also check haul and let your character auto-haul stuff from the derelict into this zone.

Always reapir before seiling if possible. you will 4x the prize. Also you want to sell to the black market to maximize profit.

Oh and remember buying a license :)

Buying a license just keeps the authorities off your back for 24 hours right? I managed to haul in 2 nav consoles which I fixed up so I'm now sitting on about 30k. Guess it might be time to rearrange my ship and get some more space.

24 hours it is. You can sell things to the license kiosk once you have it and you dont risk those 15k fines.

Scrapping ships for hull parts is a good idea early on once you have less financial pressure.
Just add some rooms but remember that more rooms means more heaters and pumps and coolers and other stuff to keep pressure and atmosphere stable. Also you need more thrusters and batteries to keep the ship alive.
