Orientation of fore and aft of vessel/Multiple airlocks
It appears that at the moment the orientation of the bow for the vessels is wherever the airlock is located. Will there be a way, say whichever direction the Nav Console is facing or an option via the Nav Console to change this in the future?

Also, as a secondary question, will there be plans on giving the option to install than one docking airlock? This way, after building a behemoth vessel, we could have smaller craft towed alongside for quick runs or expeditionary and supply runs by crew while the main vessel and crew is docked with a derelict?

I'm wondering about this as well. I just bought a new vessel and the airlock is on the aft of the ship, and the Nav Console is pointed to the Port side of the vessel, but that isn't the worst part of it. The disorienting part is, when you dock everything is upside down and it's hard to move around and see what you're doing since (oddly enough) the numbers and words are all upside down and it's just hard to get used to the Starbase being backwards and upside down.

I just switched to a hauler I founf which had 2 nav consoles facing up and down and it looks like it also had 2 airlocks on both ends. unfortunately the top airlock was gone and I had to clos the hole with walls. The world is upside down for me too now....

Come on man. Let us have 2 airlocks... Or at least give us the ability to move them.

There was talk about it on the last Dev Stream. I don't believe two airlocks are planned, other ways were floated potentially for 0.15 like grappling hooks or something.

There is a way to flip the screen rotation back. Instructions can be found on the discord.

The Docking port/airlock is the main part of the ship, it dictates the ship space/instance. Interestingly while it does look like the orientation is towards the docking port/airlock on the Nav Console this isn't the case for all ships, and in fact the direction of thrust is *toward* the player! The thrusters (and Reactor, but that isn't enabled right now) throw gas *away* from the player, effectively pushing the ship into the screen, if that makes sense.

After installing discord, making an account and browsing for ages I founf the solution:

1. Type unlockdebug
2. have nothing selected and be undocked
3. hit F3
4. use tilde key to open debug command (I had to switch to english keyboard because tile is left of the 1 key there and nowhere to be found on my country keyboard)
5. Rotate the ship facing with Q and E keys
6. Save and exit the game before continuing to play

Additions to this:

* Make a save before using unlockdebug it is very easy to break your game accidentally

* undock from everything before doing this

* FULLY shut down the game then go back in after
