This doesn't damage your ship? Patch notes says it would.
THAT SAID, i still don't really know anything about the towing brace. its possible it needs to be placed at the edge of your ships 'range', where the ships you dock to normally end up?
That's my problem, if I place it where the docking port is it won't place, it goes red on the two tiles with the little electrical plug icons on them (which on everything else are expected to be walls with conduits) as if it's expecting conduits but no walls, but if you take the walls away there then your airlock is open to space. And if you put walls elsewhere to seal that space then it won't place for those other two blocks being filled...
So how the heck did you manage?
Interesting, now I just need to find a derelict with one -.-

Sometimes the red tint on tiles while placing stuff is hard to see.
I could see it was red, but it would've removed airtight so I didn't think it made sense, it was asking for power there.
Got it, thanks! If I can ever find another one now -.- that doesn't installed only 1 of the 1/2 item instead of both.
Course I know that's now impossible, since all wrecks have been explored ... definitely not 100 unless some of them spawn in different places i.e. not anywhere remotely within the K-LEG region, I've gone well past the ring of markers even at this point.
