General Questions
May have more down the road so figured start with basics.

EVA suit - Is there a reason my character has weird reaction when putting on helmet? Feels pain and bubbling blood?

Crew - Do they have their own hidden cash system? went to buy a drink and not enough cash yet I paid them a 1k signing bonus, also other character keeps seeing something wrong with them but not sure what this means, they show drowsy but is that reason? Tried to use medical services but they just show scar of something on them, but again cant pay for it. I was hoping to outfit them with some stuff but looks like have to buy as captain.

With above mentioned is there a way as captain to treat a crew member at a facility?

Is there a trade option for crew? or do I need to just take them over and pick stuff up that I want them to have?

Reactor - still unclear what use it is since runabout uses battery and thrusters, is there another engine that I dont see on these ships?

O2, is there a way to actually produce this on my own? Since we can't siphon that I have found so far, its annoying to keep swapping looted containers and buying it is expensive. On side note, I can buy a O2 cannister for 441, same amount of O2 that is comes with is 1k or more.

Is there easier way to test integrity other than using damage indicator and going thru each part? I thought there use to be another key like power that semi showed leaks but could be just faulty memory.

Speaking of the power key that shows power icon, why is some of them missing until you activate power? I am sure there is a reason but havent figured out yet.

Some NPCs have ! around them but can't tell what it means, convo seems same options or are they just contacts in my list or something?

EVA Suit, that's the body's normal reaction to a sudden pressure change, nothing to worry about.

Crew is something I have less experience with, but you technically don't control them the same as your character, we don't have access to their funds, I heard they maybe working on this.

Treatment is not available, yet. In the works.

Pretty sure you need to control them to give them things, again pretty sure this is being worked on.

Reactors are used to supply power and charge batteries, good for recharging during long distance travel, but less so for general use as they are expensive to keep running. The RCS assembly is all I've seen for propulsion.

O2/N2/Battery power is available from the Fuel Kiosk, around the corner from the supply one. No production beyond the reactor for power. The reason the canisters are so cheap is that they are coded to be full when purchased, but the cost of the gas isn't added into it's price as it's not an item? I think it's because it's tracked as a kind of meta data, the water flasks absolutely charge for the water inside as it's an item.

There's a powervis option on your PDA, on the left side of the screen, could this be what your looking for?

As far as integrity goes, that's the best option, I'll love to have a damaged item view, but you can set your character on Auto, default behaviour is to restore the ship to full (set this in the roster), or you can use the orders system to designate places to focus on first using REPR, it will both repair and restore what's there.

I test integrity by adding a mild atmosphere, if it disappears, you have a hole somewhere.

If it's on the paperdoll, they are in pain. If not, not sure, unless it's where they are selected and their name turns yellow and a pair of [] are added to their name under the cursor, that's to show that you have this person/item selected.
thanks for most of the answers.

As for power vis, yes I toggle this when ship is unpowered and get a bunch of power icons but not all of them, alot arent visible. I was thinking its a break in the chain but that isnt always the case. The only easy way I have found is to turn on power and see where they all light up vs unlit, but not sure why that power vis only works on working power and not powered down situations.

I think figured out the ! signs, I THINK its someone you started a convo with but either you or they wandered off.
Another question, is there a way to know how many thrusters to use to make ship mobile?
(btw while i havent hired any crew recently, im pretty sure in an older version i was able to trade items with a crew person. if you interact with them while they are sleeping, you can access their storage crate etc to give them items, or swap certain tools etc. i think at the time, one of the crew had picked up the laser tool that i wanted to use, and i had to swap them the slower tools for the newer ones) :)
What goes in sink inventory slot? is there a way to refill it?

Water goes in the inventory but maybe alcohol/coffee but I haven't tried that

You can refill it by transferring water from drink pouches, flasks, and other sinks but sinks are not hooked up to a water line or anything AFAIK - even on K-Leg they have limited amount of water

You don't have to install either FYI; if you carry a sink, you can select it again to open the inventory
Dragging it to your inventory's drag slot lets you access most items inventories, be they crates, bags, bins, racks, sinks or toilets. As long as they are loose, you'r usually good to access them that way.

You can refill sinks with water, coffee, alcohol, pretty sure blood can also be carried in it and any other liquid container, I rarely find enough to test out how they stack though.

The main reason to have water in the sink as opposed to a container is that you can access it freely for taking care of hygiene, where as I've gone through hoops, including pouring it out on the ground to wash with.

There are Flasks available that can work as water storage, found, stolen or purchased from the Supply kiosk. Don't let their price fool you, they come filled with either 16 or 32 units of water and that's 99% of what you are usually paying for.
That said they are lovely for collecting fluids.

For your previous question.
1 RCS Thruster Assembly and a RCS Intake with an attached gas canister, doesn't matter the type. You need power for them to work, so a Battery, a Nav console to steer and a Transponder/Antenna array to not be allowed to dock.

Transponders are FRAGILE. They break 80% of the time and once Damaged are unable to be repaired. So either buy a spare ($25K) or be lucky when/if you want to move yours.
i also like the vodka bottles or rice wine bottles for water etc, the can hold 4 liquids and i got lucky to find a few on derelicts so far :)

btw one thing i noticed in an older game, was that "dragging" stuff, gave me the impression that it was also causing slight wear and tear, along the path i was dragging it. (eg the floor. maybe it was a coincidence but at the time it seemed to cause minor damage along the way at least for something large).
I tried to put water bulbs in sink but wasnt an option unless they only take full containers, havent tried with other drinks, will play around with it.

Thanks for tip with thrusters but wasnt sure if certtain size ships need more of them.

I have seen my game glitching out on inventory views more and more, at first I thought was bugged cabinet, but now it happening more frequently and debating starting over but finally got a freighter and trying to expand it for more cargo room since made bedroom out of some of it.
I switch to flasks as they are 8/16 slots and I can put them on clip points.

I took a look through what I have and didn't see any interactions that would damage a floor for dragging items on it, there could have been something else going on though.
I know combat can damage the area around it.
Oh for the bulbs, you need to right click and open it's inventory and manually move it.

You'll go slower the bigger the ship is, and I always recommend adding as many as you like, each one will make you move faster, doesn't matter where they are located, but I haven't exact done a lot of testing on thruster-to-mass/size ratios yet, one day...

Not sure about the inventory glitches your having but post a bug report on them, I've found a few and it's changed how I build for now.
Ok i got the sink sorted now, but I never had option for any type of hygiene use out of it, are there different types maybe?
Possibly, I've seen 2.
Once there's water in the sink, you should get a freshen up option or something like that.

For those who want elaboration, I make sure anything I want to install is either entirely in my inventory or not at all. Had a bug that locks up slots if you do otherwise, figured out how to clear it but it was a pain.
Also have yet to find a flask for sale, still waiting for shops to recycle as need another EVA suit for crew, they havent died on me yet but get nervous since they tend to wear helmet even when inside ship with good air
Ah, they have helmet fever. It should clear up, if you bar them from using airlocks, otherwise switch control and do it yourself.
That said I rarely pop the cork on my suit unless I have to.
Also check the Fixer, he can carry suits sometimes, I've gotten the 12b's from him, the black one.
