Yes! Warhammer Underworlds: Online is based on the tabletop of the same name. So players will be able to build their decks and choose their warbands to battle against each other online!
Indeed it will be based on PvP. There's one mode that features Co-op, but the core game will be PVP, and that's what will be available at launch.
I assume that we'll have to pay for every faction if we want to play them ?
Yes. Pvp at start and an optional coop down the line. Yes though the base game gives you 4 warbands already.
Absolutely! It's a great way to test out your decks!
The all available universals (that is cards that all warbands/factions can take) will be unlocked from the get go.
Faction cards will be locked to their faction specific DLCs. But the idea is that they release the universals in a staggered fashion so as to let the meta change (and thus they get content updates with not too much of an investment).
This is all to my understanding anyways.
