Refuses to start missions and crashes

After latest patch (Saw steam updating it) the game would start normally in harbor, then I select the mission and where was supposed to be a briefing it starts loading and as soon as it starts some basic style window opens with loading bar and then it crashes. Tried several times, same result every time. Anyone has any idea what's the problem/ How to fix it?
It just might be age of my computer, but I decided to ask here anyway.

Just checked and mine is working just fine, able to continue my campaign, etc. My computer is an i9 / Nvidia build from about 3 years ago. Good luck.

Just bought it and mine works fine.

I had similar experience with this game too. I had a 4 year old laptop with an iGPU. Now I bought a gaming laptop and it works fine.

my rigs from 2017 (i7-7700 with a 1070) it runs fine for me

this also is happening to me, even though i don't have the best computer i can still run a lot of games that are more advanced than this

kinda hard to do useful responses when OP doesn't give much details and the game is dead anyways.
