forever loading in connecting to IWNet HELP!

so 3 days ago everything worked fine,now the last few days i havent been able to play multiplayer it forever tries to connect to IWNet no error text or crashing just loads forvever.
yesterday steam recognized the error and told me a file was missing on my computer and when i went to download that file the download crashed and closed (i didnt bother to look at the name of the file becouse i never thought itd crash) anyone know what file could be preventing me from playing multiplayer?
