High FPS issues
Idk what to do, guys, need your help
I've recently bought a new laptop and installed MW2 on it, but when I play it, feels like the game has 30 fps only although it is showed that FPS is 90.
There's a solution for RepZ MW2(type "com_maxfps "60" in console), I tried to type the same in config but it didn't work out.
Is there anybody who had the same problem? Help :(

P.s. I know,my grammar sucks ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Turn down your settings?

Core i7 4710HQ, GTX860M 4GB, 8GB RAM, are you really sure that the problem is in game settings?:D

Regardless it's the game. You could try lowering your settings. Any FPS capped COD game people apparently "Lag". And before you ask. Yes you do get banned for unlocking the framerate.

But on my old computer this game works much more smoothly than on my more powerful laptop! :( No, you won't get banned for FPS unlocking just cuz of patch which made it absolutely impossible.
But I can't believe there're no any solution

Try turning v-sync on

I have 48HZ(!!!) monitor, so turning v-sync on will make my FPS=HZ=48, so it's not a solution :(

Why not? you cant see higher than 48 fps on that monitor so whats the point?

Yeah, and human's eye can't see more than 24 fps but the difference between 30 fps and 60 can be seen anyway xD
As well as on the 60HZ monitor difference between 60 and 120 fps is noticeable, so HZ doesn't do any influence on your FPS (only in cases when v-sync is turned on)

Okay see your point its just hard to tell for me because the difference between 60-120 fps on a 60hz monitor is less noticeable than your case obviously. My advice would be to get something like after burner/rivertunner to lock your fps i would probally lock it at 60/70

Yeah,I locked fps using afterburner but it didn't work out, still feels like 25-30 fps :'(
Yeah, on my old computer (75hz moitor) MW2 goes rly smoothly, but I can't still understand what's the matter, cuz with GTA V and BF4 everything is okay
