NAT Type Strict? Is it a problem? How can I make it open?
I cant seem to figure out how to open my NAT type. Im using AT&T U-Verse so if you guys want to help me it would be much appriciated. I also went to infinityward.com/nat but it keeps redirecting me to the main page for some reason.

forward port 28961 in UDP for the address of your PC on your lan. Look up how to port forward for whatever your router or modem/gateway combo you have and it should be open.

Is it needed to have a open NAT?

reset your router
why the hell do you want an open nat, unless you have extremely top tier DSL internet (probably dont), and a better router than an at&t uverse router, your nat should stay strict, guess its the world telling you it should be strict

Hello, the right port to host a MW2 game is 28960 UDP ya but i get the Nat Type open only with UPnP on MW2 and i have testet 3 different router from different brands.Try to aktivate UPnP on your router and start the game 2 or 3 times to see if the Nat is open than.An open Nat type is needed if you want to host a game. Also with UPnP on is my Nat Typ sometimes still strict.

fios. runs circles around your cable. it's widespread, but not total coverage like piece of ♥♥♥♥ cable.. either way, the gam eonly needs dial up anyway using only bytes...
