Steam Connect Failed
Ok, so it's been a while, i wanted to play some ye olde MW2 and get Steam Connect Fail.
I have VAC ban but it's over a year ago, i could play tho. I checked cache, deleted file in steam directory(.blob). I've tried so hard and got so far but in the end - it didn't help

aaaaand? VAC Ban is not a problem. I played it last month, i have screenshots proving it. Problem is that game always says: Steam Connect Failed

Read the thread, VAC ban means you are perm banned from the game forever.

Read the thread, VAC ban means you are perm banned from the game forever.
Then why can i play? duh, i know about vac bans, first month game kicked me from servers, now it doesn't. And rn i have this problem

There was a bug before that allowed people who were banned to play. IW finally found the time to fix the bug, so now VAC banned players are banned once again.

Don't cheat / mod the game and you won't get banned.

And when was it fixed? in 2013? Because i got the game in 2014, got vaced after a month. Came back in 2016 and played it until Steam Connect Fail problem kicked in

Fixed last month or so.
Last time i played was 2 of july. After i left Search And Destroy, i tried to find TDM but it had that error. I'm like: "Hmmm, ok. I don't really want to play anymore" because i thought it was about steam servers. Now i'm lost, there is noone helping me out

He already helped you out by giving the exact answer, I like how laptop actually admits the bug now only after it was fixed

No there was NO answer. Problem didn't solve. I can't search game even.
