I played Cod4 on console and the whole idea of "rushing" wasn't really on there. People went round the map as they wished fast or slow, while others liked to keep back and snipe at long range. There was none of this "if you don't rush round like a headless chicken you're just a noob camper". The TTK is the same on both games. 1 burst M16, 3-4 Ak47 shots, 2 M21 shots etc.
The closest thing to MW2R you have right now and I say the future most likely (Activision being Activision) is ɪᴡ𝟺x, Community maintained and everything that was botched with the PC release has been fixed. No OMA tubes, no painkiller, dedicated servers among a slew of other things. It's the only version of MW2 I've played for the past 8 years.
But again, the TTK was the same. Maybe with some weapons having a buff or nerf at some point. But overall the TTK was the same between the 2 games. I'd say that if it seemed like you were getting 1 shot by the AK, you had some form of connection issue/lag or it was hardcore lol. The games for me were exactly the same. Just totally unoptimised in MWR.
Nah bro you have to keep all the over powered glory of MW2. Balance sucks. If you good use weaker weapons. etc.
