ddos attack and protection

when im host sometimes players dont like me being host and some of them have the power to change me as a host and slow down my connection untill be offline..Is there any way i can protect me???

Those players are worse then mw2sa abusers. I stop playing this game years ago and went over to newer games. A friend of mine told me a story about how they act:

He was hosting a lot because he has a very good internet and a good gaming computer.

In a game, some write the host should leave. He was using mw2sa and noticed the nick for this player (and his 2 friends). He wrote that he had no plan to leave and tried to kick that said player, with no luck. It ended like you wrote and they start the ddosing after a few hours.
He had friends inside his isp and with the IP from mw2sa, they were located to Holland.

Be careful. Some of them are in this forum, bragging of how they can force host and other s.hit to give you a hard time on the internet. They are not nice if you dont do as they want.

i have 50 mbps down--5mbps up and the worst ping they have is 120...
i think my connection is better than russians
german france uk etc they have around 75-85 ping and im playing mostly with germans.

Also blame the game dude,i didnt choose to be host and if they ask polite i could leave..

While I agree that it is easier to to abuse a players ip in games like mw2 & mw3 - the same can be done in any other game on the steam platform.

Can you explain from your POV how force host would give someone a hard time on the internet?

One of my friends did "brag" about force host which was in reference to a video I uploaded on my profile. Personally, I am one of those people who can force host (without using mod tools). Does this make me a threat too? Any simpleton can download MW2LT and say they can force host, but that can't be done mid-game, so i'm not sure how these sort of comments can be taken with any seriousness.

Bragging in itself mostly falls down to an individuals perspective.

I look forward to your opinion on this.

These stats are not good, my ping from Frankfurt to New York is near 75ms aha

I assume you live near Athens - what is your ping to the closest server? test on https://www.speedtest.net or ping 79.128.248.42

Oh ok so you don't have fiber optic network, your location is far and your ping to the closest server is average - I think you should let others host
You say it's the games fault for making you host but you can just close your NAT

What happened to make you think you got this "ddos"?
What did it prevent you from doing?
How long did the problem go on for?

Just happened to me again. Some dude with non visible IP was cheating, expected not to be kicked out because of that. Didn't work out like he planned, and two minutes later I'm losing my connection. Happened several times back in December as well.

Oh man.I thought it's just me that have this problem.When i carry my team they slow my internet and disconnected or suddenly "Steam connection failed".Then i have to restart whole my system.It's crap.need to pursuit.I guess bunch of kids.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ new generation.
