don't interfere with us normal players who just want to enjoy regular games. Start your own private lobby and do whatever the f you want. I am sick and tired of joining your lobbies.

I don't mind the TDM turned Ground War lobbies but I had to reset my rank today because I joined a lobby and had everything instantly unlocked, really ruins the fun.

This might be hard for some to take, but it's still The Truth:

With DLC, this never happened before. But now, they even suck in DLC players because there simply is not enough people or lobbies to avoid it. That tells me bans have pretty much ceased, or that people have found a new way to bypass them. Because DLC cheating was UNHEARD OF for a very long time, yet when I played MW2 the other day, I could not avoid a ground war in TDM playlist. And I KNOW it is a major problem because I saw 6 old friends and acquaintances who HATE that just playing it and dealing with it, I guess they just accept it now. MW2 is obsolete to me now, WWII is basically MW2 in a old timey skin, and it's better in every way, except maybe maps in SOME cases, but the season pass is excellent there, and the maps all play great. Show me someone who complains about WWII, I will show you a bad or a camper, period. Highly recommended, season pass, as usual with CoD on PC, is a must.

It is dedicated server based, it is like MW2 but polished and better looking and feeling in every way. If you need a comfort zone that is yesterday's game, okay. That's normal for PC players, it seems. But WWII is way better to any self respecting call of duty player who does not fall into comfort zones and ego and instead learns a new thing when it's better. MW2 was the best. WWII is now the best.

NO modded lobbies. NO stats hacking. NO mw2sa. NO possibility of either. You can video a cheater and send it to @SHG_BanHammer and they will ban them by hand.

It's time to move on, unless you simply... can't. MW2 is obsolete to me. It was the ONLY CoD I truly enjoyed, until WWII. That says a lot. It has a much larger playerbase, people adopting every day. The reason the modded lobby situation is worse and worse is because legit players are leaving that decade old game and going to WWII as friends are informing them just as I informed this topic. And once they play it, they are done with MW2 just like me. And I swore I'd be the last person there... I was probably one of the last top tier players there, everyone who remains just can't move on IMO, because WWII is better in every way, and playing MW2 in 2018 is just asking for abuse, it feels like danger just to look for a game in it now, let alone how CLUNKY it is in comparison to the smooth polished controller of the player character in WWII, which is much more agile and can mantle better and sideways, ready up and fire right off of ladders, and so on.

Move the community to WWII. It's better. In every way. And BO4 is going to tank. Many are staying in WWII on PC.

And anyone who says it isn't is a toxic poor sport who runs MW2SA or other banning ways or DDoS people to make themselves feel good when in reality they suck but go around telling people they are the best when they are just hackers in denial because it's "my connection, my rules". That's enough to leave that game, let alone all the cheaters and hacked lobbies themselves.

People are leaving MW2 (and every other CoD, just compare them on steamcharts which are INCOMPLETE figures ever since privacy update, but they still show what happened when WWII came out and decimated the population of all the old played out ones like MW2) for WWII because WWII is a social based game with a social hub and even encourages you to party up by letting you share DLC pack 4 for free with people who don't have it... Get the crew back together, people. CoD community is a joke until we come back together. Lone wolf losers ruined it, time to join the times, or enjoy your hacked old game. WWII is for grown ups. MW2 is for poor sports and comfort zone gamers. WWII is packed with action and plays like a sport now, with strong 2-sided spawn zones:

More than DOUBLE the weapons, with like 5 to 10 different models for EACH of those double the weapons, with more to come... Customize outfits, make your own camos, make your own emblems, weapon charms, helmets, free boxes, you never have to spend one red cent. In game currency buys you anything in collections and boxes get you rare things that you cannot buy. Lets you be unique among your peers. CoDPoints are for people who have a lot of money and very little free time.

Pretty sure every MW2 player has all the time in the world and nothing else to do with their life at this point, so don't even diss cod points, they aren't for you anyway.

I can see playing MW2 for nostalgia now and then. But if you are a person who plays this game regularly, this is "your" game, you're missing out on the best one since, which is better than this one in every possible way, and I am willing to give examples and answer any questions you have.

The only reason CoD is doing poorly in playercounts is because of comfort zones and egos of weakling PC players too afraid to get good at a new one that is finally better than all the junk that came between. MW3 was good, though. Still not better than MW2. But WWII? Better than both combined... Finally CoD again... Don't be mad, move on instead, to WWII. It will live for years to come, and none of you lack at least ONE friend who tells you they are done with MW2, too. I deleted my whole friends list to stop getting MW2 invitations.

Didn't even fix the security flaw that allows people into your system until I made it public and told the subreddits about it. WWII you can have people banned same-day sometimes with a video. MW2? It's a sad day when you have to quit a game you really love because of all these problems.
If you knew the right people in-game or had a bit of knowledge, you could avoid all these issues 99% of the time.

I think it's great you have everything you want in WWII. Personally, I own many games on origin but will always come back to MW2 for the occasion hour and have my fun.

what you said is very true, mw2 is dead now and we have to move on, i moved on from mw2 3 months ago and i have not looked back, i have mostly played cod4, bo2 and mw3 over mw2, heck i have played ghosts more than mw2 recently, i don't mind ground war lobbys in tdm but all the high xp lobbys, hacked lobbys (which is 95% of the matches for mw2 right now), and s&d lobbys suck, if i had a better pc i would get cod ww2 and have fun with that game, i used to drop a pred in mw2 almost every match now i can hardly get a uav without using hardline to help me, i might play mw2 every 5 months or so but i'll never play it like i used to again, when i got mw3 i thought it was going to be like mw2 with the modded lobbys and hackers but no, mw3 has zero modded lobbys, hardly any hackers, and i am in my 3rd prestgie, rip mw2 2009-2018
