MW2 Infinite Lobby Issue - Never find a game lobby with any people

Game just sits on an empty lobby screen on all gamemodes, searches for a game with ping <50, then <60, <70, <80, etc. Never puts any players into my lobby except occasionally 1 "Matched Player" who always drops eventually. Managed to get into a game by joining my friends session for a total of 10 seconds before automatically dropping from that game.

Looked everywhere for a fix, tried getting help from Infinity Ward on twitter but they are useless anyone got any fixes to get me back into the game?

Try this: Check in config_mp.cfg that - seta cl_maxping "800" is set to this. Open with wordpad or Notepad. Save if you do any changes. Make a copy of the file to your Doc-folder before you do any changes. You can lower this value to 200. You are in Europe and should find players.
Start search in TDM - wait until it shows <80 or 90. Start new search, and do this 3 times.

I did as you said but unfortunately there was no change, any other ideas?

Check firewall and/or Virusprogram that MW2_MP is eneabled in and out, TCP and UDP.
Make sure you have atleast 12% free space on systemdisc(C) if its a SSD-disc.
A clean start:
Copy and paste the config_mp.cfg to doc-folder, then delete it in programfolder. Start Campaign, go to main-menu, then to MP. A new config_mp.cfg will be created. All youre settings will now be on default. Do your settings for game control and movements. Go back to start - options - choose Optimal settings for video and audio - Save and quit game. Wait 10 sec, start and set your prefered settings for video and audio. SAVE and quit game. Rastart and try search for TDM matches in MP.
