Lower sensitivity in windows - mouse sensitivity, or maybe too big DPI on mouse.... I can not help you more.

in some cases external progs are affecting the mouse sensitivity. for example: i got a razer-mouse. razer-synapse - the prog that comes along with razor-mouse/keyboard - changes the mouse sensitivity. so check any other sources that have influence on your mouse sensitivity, maybe its even razer-synapse, and deactivate them ;)

The DPI settings are not the reason for youre problem.
Disable "Mouse acceleration" and "Pointer Trails" in windows controlpanel. If yoy have a program for youre mouse, like i have for my Roccat Kone - disable them there too. I set the slider to 4 (scale from 1 to 11). My mouse program set the same as in windows controlpanel. Reduce polling rate to 500Hz or evt. lower as 250 or 125Hz. Try it out. I can set 5 different profiles in mouse program, depending on what to use it for. I have different polling rate and DPI in each profile. My MW2 profile have DPI settings in 5 steps from - 1000 to 8000 and works fine. Other profiles have only 2 or 3 settings, like a sniper profile. I can change profiles from a button on the mouse.
