Should I buy the DLCs?

Are there a lot of people playing with the multiplayer dlcs? Or will it make matchmaking harder?

buying the dlcs will greatly reduce the number of lobbies you have to play in, but on the counter to that there are wayyy less modded lobbies (almost nill), way less cheaters, way better competition, and way better maps.

you can always disable them if you buy them.

I would recommend waiting until they are on sale.

Don't know what game modes you like. But i can find tdm and hardcore tdm matches sometimes free for all but not much else.

It will make it harder and longer to find lobbies. And when you do have both DLC (buying just one will show almost no lobbies at all) you will find less hackers but way more hosts who abuse kicking tools to remove and lag players out of "their" hosted lobby. Anyone who defends host abuse is one of them. Best to save your money for something else.

it is always easy to find tdm and hc tdm lobbies with BOTH dlcs enabled.

One or two tdm lobbys compared to more than 12 without dlc in the evening for me.

Get them off sale or from a key site, the maps themselves are mediocre and not worth the asking price, but a couple are decent fun. I personally have them disabled because the DLC playlist is far smaller than the regular, and you need both if you want to play with them since having only one will make you forever alone

depeneds on where you are at, and only seeing 1 or 2, usually means there probably is like 4 or 5.
