Black/White screen crashes

I've gotten this game since some days now, and im encoutering alot of blackscreen or whitescreen crashes.

- Sometimes it goes away after a few seconds.
- Sometimes i have to hard reset my pc, and reboot it.

I've tried to update drivers.

Anyone else with this problem, or might has a fix?

Try to install/reinstall VCredist.exe and DXsetup.exe - restart computer after both install.
IF you get promt for uninstalling or repair, chose one of the options. If you choose uninstall, you have to restart, and then do a new install.
You find this in MW2 folder Redist. ...programfiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/mw2...
In mw2 folder there is a file called configmp.cfg. set r_preloadshaders "1" to "0"
Open the file in wordpad. Make sure you dont save it as a txt file. Make a copy of the file before you make any changes. You can past it in same folder. rename to configmp.cf1.
Well..l If you never did any...and did somthing goes wrong..just delete the file... verify files in steam library and the configmp.cfg will be created again.
